Amanda McLean

Amanda manages the One Source Technical Services (OSTS) group. She's been entrenched in lighting controls since 2008 when she joined Lutron Electronics as Product Manager, then eventually moved into a sales role in Philadelphia. She carried that newfound love of sales over to One Source when she joined the agency in 2014. In the last 8 years at One Source, Amanda has held a specification sales role focused on engineers and lighting designers and has had the pleasure of learning the ins and outs of lighting fixtures, controls design, and local code compliance.

In 2021, Amanda accepted a dual role of managing One Source's fledgling services team while maintaining her key sales accounts. The services team, which consists of three technicians, a coordinator/scheduler, and Amanda to lead the team, spends every day starting up and programming Lutron and Hubbell controls systems in the greater DC and Baltimore area. Their goal is to add value to the market through superior response times and increased support that ultimately helps One Source take care of our customers in an even better way.

Amanda is passionate about being involved in the local lighting community and was on the board of the local IES chapter for 8 years (and 2 years previously in Philadelphia). She continues to serve on the Columbia advisory council committee for Hubbell/GE current. When not passionately discussing lighting controls (no, really), Amanda loves to rock climb and go on adventures with her 4 year old son, husband, and dog.
