We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated individual, with exceptional attention to detail, to provide customer service for product orders related to commercial lighting control systems. This individual should have the ability to work with a high level of accuracy and the ability to work as part of a team. Exceptional problem solving, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
The role will require timely communication between our represented factories and electrical distributors. Daily tasks include order entry, maintaining reports, following shipping status, warranty/return resolutions, and some miscellaneous pricing. Our goal is to provide outstanding service to our customers while following a project through its construction life cycle. Professionalism and proficient computer skills are required. On the job training for our product lines and software will be provided. Experience in the industry and college education preferred but not required.
This role reports to the SVP of Construction Sales and is responsible for driving demand for our products at existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering a strong relationship with our customers. There is a strong focus on selling our products to contractors focused on building Data Centers in Maryland and Virginia.
This role is responsible for driving customer excellence for the projects awarded by Electrical Distributors to our Agency. In this role, you will review and manage the project from award through product shipment. You will be responsible for assisting the Electrical Distributor and Contractor to deliver the products as approved and on time to the project owner. You will work closely with the inside quotations group, customer service group and factories as needed to address any product needs and/or customer concerns. The below abilities/skills are required for you to perform this role successfully.
A successful Field Service Technician will excel at coordination with electrical contractors, enjoy programming and troubleshooting a variety of lighting control systems, and drive for excellence in customer satisfaction. In this position, you would be a key part of our lighting controls team, as the lighting controls expert at customer sites in Baltimore, MD / Washington, DC, ensuring that our advanced lighting systems are commissioned properly and serviced post-installation.
