Job Description:

The position we currently have to fill is an inside sales position. Do you have a technical education with the desire to understand the business process and work with the customer? Be in the business of relationship selling where Inside Sales has an expanded role requiring technical knowledge, communication skills and teamwork. Work with bright, high-energy and focused co-workers whose commitment to customer satisfaction through quality and integrity is deeply rooted.

Take ownership of customer satisfaction from initial quote to delivery. Inside Sales is responsible for estimating and projecting the profitability of every order. Become familiar with the product and the people and the process to ensure that One Source Assoc. continues to be recognized by customers as the preferred supplier in all markets we serve.

Responsibilities:

  1. Daily Quotation Needs of Lutron Commercial Systems & Shading – Providing the bills of material (BOM) to Lutron, checking BOM for accuracy, and quoting the customer.
  2. Provide submittal drawings to the customer (i.e. Disturber, contractor, specifier and end- user.) Using a varity of software tools (Adobe, ACAD, Designer 5.0, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  3. Planning & Implementation of Project Quotation – Working the Commercial Sales team to quote (This will be done with the assistance of principals of the company)
  4. dentify dimming projects Lutron is not specified and provide information to the specification sales person to change the specification. Also, work with that sales person to quote the project.
  5. Monthly Job Tracking Reports — Follow-up and Status
  6. Learn and then provide Lighting Control Design & Construct Services to distribution.  Designer 5.0, and Auto-Cad training will be provided.
  7. Keep current One Source’s customer data base in Oasis and other software as directed by IT Department
  8. Out of territory factory training, sales meetings, and specificer trips. This will include a one week training trip to Lutron.

Candidate Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree, or practical field or electrical experience, with strong mechanical aptitude..
  2. Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships.
  3. Understands technology and can grasp challenging technical issues.

Key Product Line Concentrations &
Development of Expertise for Critical Support

Lutron – Implementation of ACESS Programs; Develop expertise in commercial lighting control, wall box lighting control, and Residential products – Grafik Eye; Spacer; Radio Ra; and eventually Homeworks.  Maintain and improve processes.

Advancement Potential:

The professional who accomplishes full project management skills has many opportunities within this growing and dynamic organization.  Opportunities exist in the development of a Senior Project Manager Position responsible for the Integration of Commercial and Residential Electrical Lighting Control and Natural Lighting Control across several market channels.  Other avenues for advancement include Outside Specification Sales, Outside Residential Systems or Contractor Distributor Sales.
